Commando Skills

Commando squirrel does a military crawl (photo: Craig Sabin)

Commando skills are what we need
To navigate the world today.
To keep us low and out of sight,
Avoid the dangers in the way.

So dress in black, or maybe gray,
And belly-crawl your way around.
The COVID will stay far away
As others see that you’re unsound.

    1. Indeed, I am persuaded that in the Lord’s providence He chooses to send me many little winged or furry visitors to brighten my days. About a year and a half ago I received some award money for a project at work (I am, by grace, able to keep working although mainly confined bed) and I used it to purchase a camera with a 50x optical zoom, so that although I can’t get out in nature I can bring some nature in to me through the lens. It has proven to be a tremendous blessing in conjunction with a window that faces a backyard with a creek. God bless!

  1. Ah…the low crawl through wet sand beneath a web of barbed wire, and live fire above our heads. And a good time was had by all. j/k

Thanks for this, Craig. Great photo!
    Blessings!

    1. Thanks G.W.! Ah, it sounds like you are speaking from experience perhaps. May the Lord bless and help all who have seen such action! God bless!
